• This large mastiff-like breed was developed from the Newfoundland fisherman's dog and continues in its affinity to water related activities. He has proven himself a capable and respected rescue dog.
  Handy as a packer on the trail and excellant with children,he has an unfailing personality, and can be considered the gentle giant of canines.
• Ht: 26-30"
  Weight: 120-160 lbs
  males can be 30-40 lbs heavier
  than femals and 3-4" taller.
  The males are more square in structure,
  where the female is more feminine.
  Both sexes are family oriented and affectionate.
